Glen Grant Distillery History
Glen Grant Distillery is set in Rothes, Speyside. The building which was founded in 1840. The Distillery is a beautiful Victorian building boasting beautiful gardens which offer tours. James Grant was the original owner of the Distillery and it one of the only to still be names after its owner.
The whisky produced at Glen Grant is known for its purity, it is generally fairly clear in colour and is very clean in taste. Half of this whisky produced here is used for blending. The other half bottled as a single malt with a lucky few independent bottler getting their hands on a cask to bottle themselves an an age chosen by them.
