Description

It’s not often you see an independently bottled single Glenburgie, so this is a rare chance to experience the distillery’s elegant Speyside style in it’s most natural form.

Whilst usually reserved as the backbone malt for the world-renowned “Ballantine’s” blend, we believe this expression proves it can stand proudly on its own as a fantastic single malt.

Distilled in 2007 and matured for 18 years in a single bourbon hogshead, it delivers a beautifully balanced dram at cask strength.

Only 24 of the 268 bottle yield are available for UK general release with the remainder already exported worldwide!

Nose:
  • Fresh and inviting with a fruity aroma, citrus peel, honey, and a gentle floral lift.
Palate:
  • Opening with peach, apricot, and honeycomb which moves into a soft, oaky spice with a tiny bit of lemon zest.
Finish:
  • Long, elegant and well rounded with a fruity aftertaste.
