Craigellachie Distillery is relatively new, being built in 1890 and sits in the same town as The Macallan.

Craigellachie Distillery History

Craigellachie Distillery sits in the very heart of Speyside, near to where The Spey river meets the Fiddich River.  It is perhaps not very well known that The Macallan Distillery is actually situated in the town of Craigellachie, on the other side of the River Spey.  In 2004 the first official distillery bottling of Craigellachie 14 Year old was launched by the new owners.
